Summer may be winding down, but festival season in metro Detroit is nowhere close to over.

The next few months are packed with some of the region’s biggest annual events, from the Detroit Jazz Festival and Dally in the Alley to the Michigan Renaissance Festival, Arts, Beats & Eats, and Youmacon. There are also festivals devoted to bourbon, beer, dance, independent art, and the simple pleasure of wandering around Ferndale with a drink in your hand.”
